Communication University of China is providing scholarship to new graduate students from 2013 Fall Semester. This scholarship is sponsored by Ministry of Education as a type of Chinese Government Scholarship.
Successful applicants will be funded up to their duration of study by full scholarship covering tuition fee, accommodation fee for international students’ dormitory on campus, medical insurance fee, registration fee, etc. Successful applicants will be provided with one-off settlement subsidy of 1,500 CNY and monthly subsidy of 1,700 CNY for Master’s program studies, or 2,000 CNY for Doctoral program studies.
Successful applicants should meet with the following criteria:
- Have obtained Bachelor’s degree and plan to pursue Master’s Degree at CUC, or have obtained Master’s Degree and plan to pursue Doctoral Degree at CUC.
- Expect to enroll from 2013 Fall Semester.
- Do not hold Chinese citizenship.
- Not current enrolled in any Bachelor, Master’s or Doctoral Degree program in China.
- If have obtained any degree from a Chinese university, graduation should be prior to July 2012
Applicants should submit the following application materials to International Students’ Office before the deadline of April 15th 2013:
- Apply online at the system of China Scholarship Council http://laihua.csc.edu.cn/. Note: The Agency Number of CUC is 10033.
- Print out Application Form as generated by the online system.
- Certified photocopy of Bachelor’s Degree Diploma or Certificate of expected graduation for applicants of Master’s Programs.
- Certified photocopy of Master’s Degree Diploma or Certificate of expected graduation for applicants of Doctoral Programs.
- Official transcripts.
- HSK Level-6 Certificate for applicants of programs taught in Chinese, or choose Yes for “Do You Need Elementary Chinese Study Prior to Major Study” section in the online application system.
- TOEFL or IELTS score for applicants of programs taught in English, if English proficiency is not demonstrated by previous education, working experience, etc.
- Photocopy of passport or photocopy of one other form of identification if passport is not available.
- Personal Statement, Recommendation Letter or other materials to demonstrate talents of applicants.
If the writing language of any application material is not Chinese or English, please provide certified translation.
